Cinco de Mayo Round Up & Linky!

Cinco de Mayo is celebrated on May 5th as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride. It is observed nationwide in the United States, and it commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. (This day is not to be confused with the independence of Mexico which falls on September 16th).

If you're looking to celebrate Cinco de Mayo like we are. Here's a round up of excellent craft ideas, book choices, and food! In this list you will find ideas to make mini sombreros, a musical instrument, piñatas, flags, a Cinco de Mayo sensory tub, and some wonderful recipes for Mexican enchiladas and a yummy apple enchilada dessert!  There's also a birthday celebration Cinco de Maya (yes, with an "a"). The birthday girl's name is Maya and they celebrated her 5th birthday with a Cinco de Mayo theme.  How cool is that!
