Spanish Chapter Books for Kids

My child is constantly challenging himself when it comes to reading. He's above his reading level in English, and his newest reading obsession are chapter books. First it was Henry and Mudge, and now it's the Magic Tree House series.

In my hearts of hearts I want him to reach that same level in Spanish, too! However, as a mother raising a bilingual and biliterate child I need to keep it at his pace.  So to peak his interest in venturing into reading Spanish chapter books I've compiled a list for him.

I'm going to start with the Spanish version of Henry and Mudge. I know he's more into books about animals, so I'll start with those, and work our way down the list. I'm looking forward to him graduating from the Spanish picture books to Spanish chapter books.

Hopefully, you can find some of these books in your local library. The pictures below are affiliate links. It means that if you purchase using the links below and if you make a purchase I will receive a small monetary commission. Thank you!

  1. We have Magic TreeHouse books in our library. Love, love, love them. DD is only 4, so we're doing them as read alouds, but they're very interesting. I even look forward to seeing what's happening in the next chapter. :-) Thanks for this list!

    1. Hola Joana! You're welcome. Never thought of them as read alouds ;) How cool. We didn't know about Magic TreeHouse until my child brought a book from school, and now he's hooked. :) I'm excited to get them in Spanish.
